His photographic work addresses the gaze and experience of the Cuban migrant, to those who say goodbye and embrace a new culture, portraying stories about adaptation and cultural configuration that at the same time his own history. The use of light as the main resource and analog photography as a means of expression make up his tools to work. Within his work, daily events, symbols, spaces, contexts and the passage of time take on special importance; each of these points are of vital importance within his visual narrative. Photography has always been the pretext for not forgetting and at the same time following my own search for my identity in a foreign land.
